Chris + Claire tie the knot at Stanley Park Pavilion
Posted by mcsphoto on October 10, 2012
I had such a great time photographing Chris and Claire’s engagement photos that I was pumped to see them again at the wedding. They are just so genuine. On the day of the wedding we met at the rose garden in Stanley Park to unveil the first look before they exchanged vows at the Stanley Park Pavilion. It was really cute to see Claire running up behind Chris in her dress to surprise him.
It was an overcast summers day where the sun kept sneaking its way out from behind the clouds. After the first look we took some photos around the park before Claire was whisked away with her dad in an old vintage car. Since the park is only one way, I think they had to circle the park before they arrived at the pavilion. Talk about an entrance!
The night contnued inside the pavilion. I loved all the personal touches that they incorporated though out the day (especially the hula hoops!) as well as the specs of coral that we scattered about. (If you know me, you know that i’m slightly smitten with coral!) You should check out the beautiful flowers from the Flower Factory and the lovely decor planned by Alicia Keats Event Planning.
A simply stunning day!
